Our CharitIES

HIV Ireland is a national charity working to improve the lives of people living with HIV and to prevent new HIV transmissions.

They provide information, advocacy and community supports, challenge stigma and discrimination, and promote sexual health through education, training and outreach.

They work with communities most affected by HIV, including LGBTQ+ communities, support access to testing, treatment and prevention including PrEP, and amplify lived experience in policy and service development.

Their goal is an Ireland where everyone can know their HIV status, access care without barriers and live free from stigma.

Midlands LGBT+ Project is a charity working to reduce isolation and strengthen community for LGBT+ people across Laois, Offaly, Kildare, and Westmeath.

They provide regular social meet-ups, peer support groups, and pride events, creating vital spaces where people feel safe, seen, and connected within their local areas.

They work to ensure the wider community is inclusive and diverse, delivering specialized training for schools, businesses, and organisations, while providing support for parents of LGBT+ young people.

Established in 2021, the project has worked to provide the space and support needed for LGBT+ people to thrive wherever they are, fostering a vital sense of community and reducing the isolation felt widely throughout the midlands.
